Canyon Echoes is the small ensemble of 20 singers that is a significant component of Phoenix Metropolitan Men’s Chorus. Canyon Echoes has a mission, which is identical to that of the full chorus: To Unite, Inspire, Educate, and Entertain our diverse audiences.

Canyon Echoes acts as ambassadors of Grand Canyon Performing Arts. These talented singers spread our musical message and artistry at many functions across our valley where the entire chorus can not go. Their performances range from classical recital style concerts to full blown stage shows.

The singers who make up Canyon Echoes are completely dedicated to their art. They work very hard to master their craft – rehearsing countless hours in addition to full chorus rehearsals. They all feel their time and energy is well worth the effort. And the Chorus is much richer for having this kind of dedication from this fantastic group of men.

Omaggio Youth Chorus

Founded in 2012, Omaggio LGBTQ Youth Chorus is open to teens and young adults from all backgrounds across the greater Phoenix community.  Omaggio provides a safe outlet for supporting and fostering personal and group creativity, growth and artistic expression.  Omaggio made their debut performance at the 2013 Blush & Bashful Gala, hosted by GCPA and the Phoenix Metropolitan Men’s Chorus.

The Omaggio Youth Chorus is the only LGBT youth chorus in the Southwest United States.

Grand Canyon Performing Arts is proud to sponsor and support Omaggio as one of only 9 LGBTQ youth choruses in the nation.  With 26 singing members, we look forward to their continued growth and involvement in our artistic concerts.
